    Powertex Mushrooms

    Create your own unique Powertex Mushrooms using recycled fabrics and Powertex.
    Cost of £55 includes all materials and tuition and refreshments. Please bring a packed lunch but no nuts or popcorn due to a serious allergy.
    These can be displayed outside if you wish, after allowing 3 weeks inside to cure.
    Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials.  It can be a very messy craft but with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided but please wear old clothes. You are welcome to bring your own apron if you prefer.
    Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop.
    Booking is essential, spaces are limited, a £5 non-refundable (but transferable) deposit will secure your place. Please either pop into the studio or give us a ring on 01386 304878 to book.

    Curious about Powertex? Then this workshop is for you…
    Introduction to Powertex – Hanging Heart plaque and a little surprise. This is a great taster session, you will learn a range of different techniques, suitable for beginners, before going onto anything larger or more intricate.
    Create your own unique decorative plaque using a wooden heart, (various styles available) as a base and upcycling scrap materials and embellishments.
    Cost of £20 includes all materials, tuition and refreshments on the night.
