    Powertex your own mini Highland Cow – NEW Workshop

    Come and join us on our new mini Highland Cow workshop. You will be guided through the process of making your own Highland Cow using Powertex and recycled materials and will be able to take home your mini Hamish on the day.

    Cost £25
    Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people booked on to be able to run this workshop.
    Spaces are limited and a £5 non refundable (but transferable) deposit per person is required on booking please.
    It is a messy craft and wearing old clothes is recommended, an apron and gloves will be provided. Drinks included (and biscuits)

    Knitting - Learn a bit more - 3 week Course (Week 1)

    In this workshop, which continues on from our ‘Knitting as a Life Skill’ workshop, you will learn new stitches and pattern styles.

    This is suitable for those who can already knit ie cast on, follow basic instructions and cast off and would like to learn more.  The idea is to knit squares to either form a cushion or a small knee blanket.

    Cost £60 for all 3 weeks

    Dates:

    Friday 17th November 6pm-8pm

    Thursday 23rd November 6pm-8pm

    Thursday 30th November 6pm-8pm

    Tuition and needles included and a selection of yarn will be available but you are welcome to bring your own (double knitting) if you wish to follow a particular theme.

    Refreshments included.

    Booking is essential, with full payment on booking please.   (Refundable if cancelled 2 weeks before start date and we can refill your space)

    Minimum number 3 and maximum 8.
