    Powertex Esmeralda the Quirky Cat (part 1)

    Join us to create your own unique Esmeralda the Quirky Cat using Powertex.
    During the evening you will create your own amazing fabric sculpture using Powertex fabric hardener and recycled fabrics, and then the following evening you will bring your figure to life with our range of colour pigments and dry brushing techniques (if you can’t make the following evening, please speak to us as we may be able to offer an alternative date).
    Your finished sculpture will also be suitable for outdoor display once cured (3 weeks) if you wish.
    Cost £45 includes all materials, tuition and refreshments.
    Please wear old clothes, we will provide an apron and gloves.
    Refreshments included.
    Spaces are limited. A £5 non-refundable (but transferable) deposit will secure your place, please either pop into the studio or give us a ring on 01386 304878 to book.
    Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop.

    During this session you will add the colour to your sculpture using pigments and varnish.
    If you can’t make the following evening, please speak to us as we may be able to offer an alternative date.
    Your finished sculpture will also be suitable for outdoor display once cured (3 weeks) if you wish.
    Please wear old clothes, we will provide an apron and gloves.

    Knitting - Learn a bit more - 3 week Course (Week 3)

    In this workshop, which continues on from our ‘Knitting as a Life Skill’ workshop, you will learn new stitches and pattern styles.

    This is suitable for those who can already knit ie cast on, follow basic instructions and cast off and would like to learn more.  The idea is to knit squares to either form a cushion or a small knee blanket.

    Cost £60 for all 3 weeks

    Dates:

    Friday 17th November 6pm-8pm

    Thursday 23rd November 6pm-8pm

    Thursday 30th November 6pm-8pm

    Tuition and needles included and a selection of yarn will be available but you are welcome to bring your own (double knitting) if you wish to follow a particular theme.

    Refreshments included.

    Booking is essential, with full payment on booking please.   (Refundable if cancelled 2 weeks before start date and we can refill your space)

    Minimum number 3 and maximum 8.
