Powertex Tree House NEW
Kaz & Annie's, Ceramics and More18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RECome along and join us to create your own unique Tree House using Powertex, a large sweetie jar, assorted embellishments and recycled materials and then finish off with pigments and varnish.
Cost £50 includes tuition, all materials and refreshments, please bring a packed lunch (no nuts or popcorn please due to a serious nut allergy)
The final design is up to you, we will be on hand to guide you. This is a totally new workshop.
Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials. It can be a very messy craft but with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided, please wear old clothes. You are welcome to bring your own apron if you prefer.
Please note that we require a minimum or 2 people to be able to run this workshop.

Knitting as a Life Skill - 5 week course Week 3
Kaz & Annie's, Ceramics and More18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RE“Knitting is calming, relaxing, and keeps us centred because of its repetitive movements, which can help prevent and manage stress, pain and depression, which in turn strengthens the body’s immune system”The total course is for five weeks, two hours per night. Over the period of the five weeks you will learn the basics of knitting, to include:How to hold the needles
Casting on and off
Garter stitch
Stocking stitch
Increasing and decreasingYou will also learn how to follow a pattern.Once these skills have been gained, this will enable you to progress to intermediate/advanced level where you will learn to work with more complicated patterns.Please note that there will also be an element of ‘homework’ between weeks.During the weeks you will knit a hat, headband or a cowl together with a brooch (styles will vary).Dates:

Beginners Crochet workshop 3 weeks
