Beginners Crochet workshop 3 weeks

• Treble crochet

Introduction to Powertex - Hanging Heart or Tag

Then this workshop is for you…Introduction to Powertex – Hanging Heart plaque and a little surprise. This is a great taster session, you will learn a range of different techniques, suitable for beginners, before going onto anything larger or more intricate.Create your own unique decorative plaque using a wooden heart, (various styles available) as a base and upcycling scrap materials and embellishments.Cost of £20 includes all materials, tuition and refreshments during the workshop.Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials with many uses.It can be a very messy craft but very addictive with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided, please wear old clothes.Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop. Kaz & Annie's, Ceramics and More18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RECome and join us to Powertex your own beautiful decorative sea themed bowl which will look great with fairy lights inside.In this workshop you will be using Powertex fabric hardener, recycled materials and acrylic ink sprays to design and decorate a bowl with a sea theme and various embellishments.Once dry you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture on your bowl, the finished look is up to you.When finished you take your bowl home with you. (actual Mirror size 9.5cm square). Other themes available, please discuss with us prior to workshop.Once dry you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture on your Mirror, the finished look is up to you.When finished you take your Mirror home with you.
