Create your own unique Insect House, the finished look is up to you - using recycled materials, fabrics and Powertex. We will guide you and work alongside you.
Cost of £30 includes all materials, tuition and refreshments.
Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials.
Your Insect House will be ready to use outside after drying/curing inside for 3 weeks.
It can be a very messy craft but with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided but please wear old clothes.
Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop. This workshop will run alongside our Powertex Mushroom workshop.

    Pottery painting or Decopatch evening where you can get together with your friends or family and enjoy some creative ME time (over 16’s only). Choose from our wide range of items, with prices starting from £10 up to £38.00.
    You are welcome to bring your own fizz or drink on the evening (please no snacks or products containing nuts). We also sell a range of teas, hot chocolate, milkshakes and coffees.
    Minimum number of 2 people booked to be able to run the evening,
    If you don’t see a date that is suitable, please speak to us as we may be able to accommodate you on a different day.
    Booking is essential with a £5 non refundable (but transferable) deposit per person, which will be deducted from the cost of the items on the night.

    Come along and decorate your own large Wooden Mushroom, you can add Fairy doors, mini mushrooms, or just keep it simple - you choose on the day.

  • Green Man or Woman plaque

    Come and join us to Powertex your own Green Man or Green Woman wall plaque (approx size 32cm x 22cm).
    In this workshop you will be using Powertex fabric hardener to design and decorate a Green Man or Woman wall plaque using resin, various recycled fabrics and embellishments. Please let us know which you would like to create when you book.
    Once dry you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture on your project, the finished look is up to you.
    When finished you take your project home with you which once fully dried (3 weeks drying time) can be placed outside if you wish. The workshop is suitable for beginners.
    Powertex is a fabric hardener so we recommend wearing old clothes, aprons and gloves are supplied and refreshments are included.

    Create your own unique A5 sketchbook or lined notebook which can be used as a gift or for yourself, using fabrics, a range of embellishments and Powertex - choose your theme, please discuss with us at the time of booking.
    A variety of Powertex colours are available, the note books are examples only, you will be able to create your own design using the materials provided.
    Cost of £30.00 includes all materials and tuition and a hot/cold drink on the evening.
