We will be at Botany Bay Craft Fair with a range of Powertex handmade gifts – why not come along and have a look and see what other great stalls there are.
Have a look around the garden centre and enjoy something in the cafe – we can definitely recommend their bacon sandwiches and chips.

Powertex Christmas Wreath (1st session)
18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RECreate your own unique Powertex Christmas Wreath using fabrics, embellishments and Powertex. A variety of colours are available, the wreath shown is an example only, you will be able to create your own design using the materials provided..Cost of £50 includes all materials and tuition and a hot/cold drink during the workshop. Please bring a packed lunch (no nuts due to a serious allergy).Please note that this workshop will be run over 2 evenings, on the first evening you will create your wreath and then on the second evening you will colour your wreath. (If you can’t make the second evening please talk to us as we may be able to offer an alternative)Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials.It can be a very messy craft but with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided but please wear old clothes. You are welcome to bring your own apron if you prefer.Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop.Booking is essential, spaces are limited, a £5 non-refundable (but transferable) deposit will secure your place. 18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RE“Knitting is calming, relaxing, and keeps us centred because of its repetitive movements, which can help prevent and manage stress, pain and depression, which in turn strengthens the body’s immune system”The total course is for 4 weeks, two hours per night. Over the period of the four weeks you will learn the basics of knitting, to include:How to hold the needles
Casting on and off
Garter stitch
Stocking stitch
Increasing and decreasing
You will also learn how to follow a pattern.Once these skills have been gained, this will enable you to progress to intermediate/advanced level where you will learn to work with more complicated patterns.During the weeks you will knit a hat, headband or a cowl together with a brooch (styles will vary).Dates:

She knits for a variety of charities including Breast Cancer and Help the Heroes.
