Powertex a Wizards Wand
18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RECreate your own unique wizards Wand using Powertex and recycled materials.Cost of £20.00 includes all materials and tuition.Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials.It can be a very messy craft but with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided, please wear old clothes.Booking is essential, spaces are limited, a £5 non-refundable (but transferrable) deposit will secure your place. Please either pop into the studio or give us a ring on 01386 304878 to book. Please note that this will take place in our upstairs studio space.Minimum age 9 years – no maximum age
Knitting as a Life Skill - 5 week course (week 4)
18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RE“Knitting is calming, relaxing, and keeps us centred because of its repetitive movements, which can help prevent and manage stress, pain and depression, which in turn strengthens the body’s immune system”The total course is for 4 weeks, two hours per night. Over the period of the four weeks you will learn the basics of knitting, to include:How to hold the needles
Casting on and off
Garter stitch
Stocking stitch
Increasing and decreasing
You will also learn how to follow a pattern.Once these skills have been gained, this will enable you to progress to intermediate/advanced level where you will learn to work with more complicated patterns.During the weeks you will knit a hat, headband or a cowl together with a brooch (styles will vary).Dates:

Week 3 – Wednesday 18th October
Week 4 – Wednesday 25th October

She knits for a variety of charities including Breast Cancer and Help the Heroes. Halloween Family Party
18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RECome in and join us for a family fun party and paint some Halloween pottery or Decopatch (or just choose something else from our selection).
Dressing up is optional but why not join in with Kaz & Annie? There will be a prize for the best dressed.
Booking is essential, with a £5 deposit per booking (this will come off the cost of what is done on the night)
Bring your own bottle (we can supply the glasses) or choose from our range of teas, coffees, milkshakes or squash.
Please note that as we are only small we ask that there is only one non-painter, if any, per group.
We only have 3 tables available (2 seating 6 people and 1 seating 4 people) please let us know if you are happy to share if you are a smaller group or just get a group of friends and family together and have a table to yourselves. If this is popular, we may run another evening.
