Powertex Hare
18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4REJoin us to create your own unique Powertex fabric sculpted Hare.During the day you will create your own amazing fabric sculpture using Powertex fabric hardener and recycled fabrics, before bringing your figure to life with our range of colour pigments and dry brushing techniques.Your finished sculpture will also be suitable for outdoor display once cured (3 weeks) if you wish.Cost £55 includes all materials, tuition and refreshments.Please wear old clothes, we will provide an apron and gloves.Please bring a packed lunch (no nuts or popcorn please do to a serious allergy) or pop out and grab a sandwich. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.Spaces are limited. Powertex pair Wine Glasses and Bottle Cuff

A variety of colours are available, the glasses shown are an example only, you will be able to create your own design using the materials provided.Please note that we recommend having done our Introduction to Powertex workshop if you have not used Powertex before.Cost of £35 includes all materials and tuition and a hot/cold drink on the evening.Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials.It can be a very messy craft but with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided, please wear old clothes. Choose from our wide range of items, with prices starting from £9 up to £40.You are welcome to bring your own fizz or drink on the evening. Knitting as a Life Skill (week 3)
18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RE“Knitting is calming, relaxing, and keeps us centred because of its repetitive movements, which can help prevent and manage stress, pain and depression, which in turn strengthens the body’s immune system”The total course is for 4 weeks, two hours per night. Over the period of the four weeks you will learn the basics of knitting, to include:How to hold the needles
Casting on and off
Garter stitch
Stocking stitch
Increasing and decreasing
You will also learn how to follow a pattern.Once these skills have been gained, this will enable you to progress to intermediate/advanced level where you will learn to work with more complicated patterns.During the weeks you will knit a hat, headband or a cowl together with a brooch (styles will vary).Start date:

She knits for a variety of charities including Breast Cancer and Help the Heroes.
