    Create your own Needlefelt Picture

    Something a bit different for anyone interested in needle felting, we will guide you through the process of making your own unique picture, just bring in something to copy from – a favourite photo for example (not too intricate).
    Cost is £35.00 which includes all the materials, tuition and a hot drink.
    Booking is essential with a £5 non-refundable (but transferable) deposit, please either ring us on 01386 304878 or pop into the shop to book your place.
    Spaces are limited to 4 people, so please book as soon as possible.  Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop.

    Pottery painting or Decopatch evening where you can get together with your friends or family and enjoy some creative ME time (over 16’s only). Choose from our wide range of items, with prices starting from £9 up to £40.
    You are welcome to bring your own fizz or drink on the evening. We also sell a range of teas and coffees.
    Minimum number 3 and maximum seating for 14.
    If you don’t see a date that is suitable, please speak to us as we may be able to accommodate you on a different day.

    Knitting as a Life Skill (week 2)

    “Knitting is calming, relaxing, and keeps us centred because of its repetitive movements, which can help prevent and manage stress, pain and depression, which in turn strengthens the body’s immune system”
    The total course is for 4 weeks, two hours per night. Over the period of the four weeks you will learn the basics of knitting, to include:
    How to hold the needles
    Casting on and off
    Garter stitch
    Stocking stitch
    Increasing and decreasing
    You will also learn how to follow a pattern.
    Once these skills have been gained, this will enable you to progress to intermediate/advanced level where you will learn to work with more complicated patterns.
    During the weeks you will knit a hat, headband or a cowl together with a brooch (styles will vary).
    Start date:
    Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm
    Cost: £80 (includes full tuition, needles, yarn and typed instructions)
    Full payment on booking please (refundable if cancelled 2 weeks before start date and we can refill your space)

    Annie has been knitting for over 45 years, self-taught originally knitting for family and friends, but now her own work is much in demand as commissions. She knits for a variety of charities including Breast Cancer and Help the Heroes. She has run classes at Evesham College for the past five years, offering a relaxed informal style of learning with the focus on having fun.
