    Create your own unique A5 sketchbook or lined notebook which can be used as a gift or for yourself, using fabrics, a range of embellishments, rice papers and Powertex – choose your theme, please discuss with us at the time of booking.
    A variety of Powertex colours are available, the note books are examples only, you will be able to create your own design using the materials provided.
    Cost of £30.00 includes all materials and tuition and a hot/cold drink on the evening.
    Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials and both Kaz & Annie are Certified Powertex Tutors for fabric sculpting, Stone Art, 3D Flex and mixed media.
    It can be a very messy craft but with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided, please wear old clothes.
    Booking is essential, spaces are limited, a £10 non-refundable (but transferable) deposit will secure your place. Please either pop into the studio or give us a ring on 01386 304878 to book.
    Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop. Minimum age 9 years with adult supervision.

  • Learn to Knit – 5 week course (week 1)

    “Knitting is calming, relaxing, and keeps us centred because of its repetitive movements, which can help prevent and manage stress, pain and depression, which in turn strengthens the body’s immune system”
    The total course is for five weeks, two hours per night, per week. Over the period of the five weeks you will learn the basics of knitting, to include:
    How to hold the needles
    Casting on and off
    Garter stitch
    Stocking stitch
    Increasing and decreasing
    You will also learn how to follow a pattern.
    Once these skills have been gained, this will enable you to progress to intermediate/advanced level where you will learn to work with more complicated patterns.
    During the weeks you will knit a hat, headband or a cowl together with a brooch (styles will vary).
    Dates:

    Week 1 – Wednesday 13th August
    Week 2 – Wednesday 20th August
    Week 3 – Wednesday 27th August
    Week 4 – Wednesday 3rd September
    Week 5 – Wednesday 10th September
    Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm
    Cost: £120 (includes full tuition, needles, yarn and typed instructions)

She knits for a variety of charities including Breast Cancer and Help the Heroes. She has run classes at Evesham College for the past five years, offering a relaxed informal style of learning with the focus on having fun.

    You are welcome to bring your own fizz or drink on the evening. We also sell a range of teas, hot chocolates and coffees.
    Minimum number 3 and maximum seating for 14.
    If you don’t see a date that is suitable, please speak to us as we may be able to accommodate you on a different day.

  • Powertex a Stone Art Tea Cup

  • Introduction to Powertex, taster session – Hanging Heart

    Introduction to Powertex – Hanging Heart plaque and a little surprise. This is a great taster session, you will learn a range of different techniques, suitable for beginners, before going onto anything larger or more intricate.
    Create your own unique decorative plaque using a wooden heart, (various styles available) as a base and upcycling scrap materials and embellishments.
    Cost of £20 includes all materials, tuition and refreshments on the night.
