    Come and join us on our popular Powertex Hamish the Highland Cow workshop. You will be guided through the process of making your own Highland Cow using Powertex and recycled materials and will be able to take home Hamish on the day.

    Spaces are limited and a £10 non refundable (but transferable) deposit per person is required on booking please.
    Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people booked on to be able to run this workshop.
    It is a messy craft and wearing old clothes is recommended, an apron and gloves will be provided. Drinks included (and biscuits) please bring a packed lunch/snack (no nuts or popcorn please due to an allergy).

  • Powertex Memory Jar (2 weeks)

    Inspired by Powertex UK Dabble Days you can create your own unique memory jar which can be used to keep memories safe or can be used with decorative lights inside, depending on how you want it.
    Create your own unique Memory Jar using a jar, fabrics, a range of embellishments, Stone Art, Bisters and Powertex - choose your theme, please discuss with us at the time of booking - our samples show sea, dragon and fossils. A variety of Powertex colours are available depending on your theme.
    Cost of £45.00 includes all materials and tuition and a hot/cold drink on the evening.
    Please note that this workshop takes place over two weeks:
    Week 1 - Wednesday 18th June 6-9pm to create your jar
    Week 2 - Wednesday 25th June 6-7pm to colour your jar.
    Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials and both Kaz & Annie are Certified Powertex Tutors for fabric sculpting, Stone Art, 3D Flex and mixed media.
    It can be a very messy craft but with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided, please wear old clothes.
    Booking is essential, spaces are limited, a £10 non-refundable (but transferable) deposit will secure your place. Please either pop into the studio or give us a ring on 01386 304878 to book.
    Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop. Minimum age 9 years with adult supervision.

  • Powertex Oval Box - choice of designs

    Create your own decorated Wooden Oval Box - the picture shows a dragon themed box, but there are other options and colours available.
    Learn a different technique to create the effects on the box and use various fabrics and clay to embellish your box.
    We guide you through every step and the finished design is up to you.
    Cost £30 includes all tuition, materials and refreshments on the evening.
