5 - Mixed Media picture on foam board
10:00 -16:00 2023.02.05 18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RE  Mixed Media picture on foam board. This is a great workshop, using a range of different techniques, including stencils, structure paste, rice paper, bister sprays and Powertex. Create your own unique decorative picture on foam using recycled fabrics, zips and a variety of embellishments (choice of colours/styles). Cost of £50 includes all materials, tuition and refreshments throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch with you (we kindly ask for no nuts or popcorn due to serious allergy). Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials with many uses. It can be a messy craft but very addictive and with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided, please wear old clothes. A £5 non refundable (but transferable) deposit will secure your place, spaces are limited. Then this workshop is for you… Introduction to Powertex – Hanging Heart plaque and a little surprise. This is a great taster session, you will learn a range of different techniques, suitable for beginners, before going onto anything larger or more intricate. Create your own unique decorative plaque using a wooden heart, (various styles available) as a base and upcycling scrap materials and embellishments. Cost of £20 includes all materials, tuition and refreshments on the night. Powertex is the environmentally friendly water based textile hardener which can harden a variety of materials with many uses. It can be a very messy craft but very addictive with great results. An apron and gloves will be provided, please wear old clothes. Please note that we need a minimum of 2 people to be able to run this workshop. 18:30 -21:00 2023.02.10 18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RE  Pottery painting or Decopatch evening where you can get together with your friends or family and enjoy some creative ME time (over 16’s only). Choose from our wide range of items, with prices starting from £9 up to £40. You are welcome to bring your own fizz or drink on the evening. We also sell a range of teas and coffees. Minimum number 3 and maximum seating for 14. If you don’t see a date that is suitable, please speak to us as we may be able to accommodate you on a different day. Booking is essential with a £5 deposit, which will be deducted from the cost of the items on the night. 12 - Powertex Gecko
10:00 -15:00 2023.02.12 18 Vine Mews, Vine Street, Evesham, Worcs, WR11 4RE  Come and join us to Powertex your own Gecko. In this workshop you will be using Powertex fabric hardener to design and decorate a 58cm MDF Wall hanging Gecko using various recycled fabrics and embellishments. Once dry you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture on your Gecko, the finished look is up to you. When finished you take your Gecko home with you which once fully dried (3 weeks drying time) can be placed outside if you wish. The workshop is suitable for beginners, minimum age 10 years, no maximum age. Powertex is a fabric hardener so we recommend wearing old clothes, aprons and gloves are supplied and refreshments are included. Limited spaces available, £5 non-refundable (but transferable) deposit required on booking. In this workshop you will be using Powertex fabric hardener, recycled materials and bister sprays to design and decorate a 25.5cm Wall hanging Mirror using a Dream, sea theme and various embellishments. (actual Mirror size 9.5cm square). Once dry you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture on your Mirror, the finished look is up to you. When finished you take your Mirror home with you. The workshop is suitable for beginners, minimum age 10 years (accompanied by an adult), no maximum age.
