March | March | 1 - Powertex Unplanned (2 weeks)
All day 2025.04.01 This is a fairly new idea for us, we’d thought we would give it a go. Our idea, run a workshop over two consecutive weeks: Week 1 Tuesday 25th March 6pm-9pm Week 2 Tuesday 1st April 6pm-9pm (or earlier) depending on what you choose to do, you pay a fixed price for the first week of £30 and then an hourly rate (£10) for the second week depending on how much time you need to finish off your piece. We would recommend that you already have used Powertex with us for you to be able to get the most out of this workshop. Most of our workshops can be done in 3 hours but this just gives you the opportunity to work on something different of your choosing rather than us running a structured workshop. You will be able to choose from a range of bases, Powertex colours, fabrics, lace, embellishments etc to create your own unique work of art. All you need to provide is the idea, yourself in suitable clothes and be ready for a laugh. We will be on hand to help and guide you us as much as you need. Please speak to us when booking as we would appreciate an idea of what you would like to create to ensure we can supply what you would like on the night – you are welcome to bring your own items to use if you want to, it might be a quirky shaped bottle or some embellishments that you would like to incorporate. There will be some exclusions due to size, time, practicality, and product costs, these are: Stone Art Figurines (including ladies, grim reaper) Trio of Mushrooms or Christmas Tree Large Foam Board Depending on how this first workshop goes we may well put on a separate ‘unplanned’ workshop to cover these. Booking is essential with a £10 non-refundable (but transferable) deposit, please either ring us on 01386 304878 or pop into the studio to book your place. Spaces are limited, so please book as soon as possible. This workshop will take place in our upstairs studio.
